Attribute summary and damage cause analysis of excavator roller Excavator Track Roller
The supporting wheel of excavator carries the excavator’s own quality and working load, and the property of the supporting wheel is an important standard to measure its quality. This paper analyzes the property, damage and causes of the supporting wheel.
1、 Properties of the roller
one
structure
The structure of the roller is shown in Figure 1. The outer cover 2 and inner cover 8 at both ends of the roller spindle 7 are fixed at the lower part of the crawler frame of the excavator. After the outer cover 2 and inner cover 8 are fixed, the axial displacement and rotation of the spindle 7 can be prevented. Flanges are set on both sides of the wheel body 5, which can clamp the track chain rail to prevent the track from derailing and ensure that the excavator travels along the track.
A pair of floating seal rings 4 and floating seal rubber rings 3 are respectively set inside the outer cover 2 and the inner cover 8. After the outer cover 2 and the inner cover 8 are fixed, the floating seal rubber rings 3 and floating seal rings 4 are pressed against each other.
The relative contact surface of two floating seal rings 4 is smooth and hard, forming a sealing surface. When the wheel body rotates, two floating seal rings 4 rotate relative to each other to form a floating seal.
The O-ring seal 9 is used to seal the main shaft 7 with the outer cover 2 and the inner cover 8. The floating seal and O-ring seal 9 can prevent the lubricating oil in the roller from leaking, and prevent the muddy water from immersing in the roller. The oil hole in plug 1 is used to fill the inside of the roller with lubricant.
two
Stress condition
The roller body of the excavator is supported upward by the track chain rail, and the two ends of the main shaft bear the weight of the excavator, as shown in Figure
2.The weight of the excavator is transmitted to the main shaft 7 through the track frame, the outer cover 2 and the inner cover 8, to the shaft sleeve 6 and the wheel body 5 through the main shaft 7, and to the chain rail and track shoe through the wheel body 5 (see Figure 1).
When the excavator is operating on uneven sites, it is easy to cause the track shoe to tilt, resulting in the chain rail to tilt. When the excavator is turning, the axial displacement force will be generated between the main shaft and the wheel body.Excavator Track Roller
Due to the complex force on the roller, its structure must be reasonable. The main shaft, wheel body and shaft sleeve need to have relatively high strength, toughness, wear resistance and sealing performance.
